Hi, Im a professional art director and illustrator from Mexico currently living in Valencia.

What is my personal recipe?

Prepare the best illustration with the right ingredients!

When I receive a brief, I test it, just as one does with cooking; deciding if it is better to flavour with flat tone or contours, if a contrast should be more sweet or sour, a trace of spice enough to burst the client’s senses, but always adapting the cooking time as each recipe requires.

•FRESH INGREDIENTS: My training in advertising taught me to first sit back and develop a great idea, before using my pencil. It all needs to be backed up with a concept.

•100% ORGANIC: Sketching by hand from scratch first. Visualising ideas for communication with the client, leading to better results.

•TODAY’S MENU: My obsession for artistic trends allows me to easily adapt to different styles. I manage techniques ranging from watercolour and oil, to printmaking and graffiti. Experimenting with new and traditional graphic methods in order to keep me up to date, inspired and challenged so as to continue growing artistically.

• INTERNATIONAL CUISINE: I do not believe in barriers, I have worked for agencies and clients in Mexico, Spain, Italy, China, Sweden, Uruguay, U.S., France, New Zealand, Japan, Austria, Qatar, Argentina, England, Brazil and Germany.

• TO GO: I love to share my work, may it be through advertising, social media, in exhibitions, magazines, books or even on the skin of an adventurer requesting a tattoo; I believe they all serve the purpose of sharing, exposing and spreading my pieces.
