Overview
I am a copy-editor and proofreader with more than 16 years of professional experience, and I would love to help you perfect your manuscript. I am particularly keen to work with travel, fiction and memoir writers but I will consider requests covering all subject areas.
Recent projects include adult and children's fiction, memoirs, self-help manuals, YA fiction, poetry, guidebooks for Lost Guides and Lonely Planet, magazines (including Harrods, Weight Watchers and Women's Weekly), websites (including Retail Week and Drapers) and newspapers (including The Independent, The Guardian, the i newspaper and The Sunday Times).
In addition, I am a writer myself, of both fiction and memoir, and have had short stories published in anthologies by Spread the Word, Writefluence and the Parracombe Prize. As someone who writes myself, I understand the perspective of authors seeking editors and will aim to handle your work with both the sensitivity and honesty it deserves.
